Support Connection is a state-licensed Support Coordination agency based in Red Bank, NJ. We are hiring for the position of Support Coordinator to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Southern NJ. The counties will include Camden, Burlington and Ocean. This position is a remote/work from home but candidates MUST reside in one of these counties as there are quarterly in-person visits with clients which you will travel to. This position is part time for the right person who is willing to grow to full time. This position offers very competitive pay for the right individual. Candidates must be able to take initiative, work independently and make executive decisions when necessary. This is an excellent job opportunity for anyone who needs flexibility but has the discipline to meet deadlines.
We are seeking a self-motivated and compassionate individual with experience in working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You must have excellent writing and communication skills, flexibility with time sensitive matters and be dedicated to helping others. Attention to detail and computer skills are also required.
Responsibilities include making initial visits, creating Individual Service Plans (ISPs), attending interdisciplinary team meetings, quarterly face-to-face contacts, and annual home visits, and making regular phone contacts. You will work with individuals and their families to connect them with community resources and supports to help them meet their needs. Additional training and supervision will be provided. You must have at least one year of documented experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
